LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. – Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), an innovator at the front line of business with solutions and partners that deliver a performance edge, today announced it will showcase a live smart warehouse demonstration including robotics automation for material movement and mobile robot-assisted picking fulfillment optimization at ProMat 2023.
Located at Booth S647, Zebra’s smart warehouse demo will provide attendees the opportunity to experience the company’s autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) along with its other robust warehouse solutions including Zebra's fixed industrial scanning, printing, RFID, mobile computing, and wearables. Zebra’s smart warehouse demo emulates key warehouse operations from receiving through putaway storage, fulfillment, picking, packing and shipping while showcasing Zebra solutions at each stage. Several solution partners from Zebra’s 10,000+ PartnerConnect network will also be showcasing solutions within Zebra’s Booth.??
“The race to automate the warehouse is on, but there’s still a lot of uncertainty among warehouse operators about where and how to begin,” said Jim Lawton, Vice President, Robotics Automation, Zebra Technologies. “We’ve created integrated automation solutions which pair our AMRs with mobile devices such as Zebra tablets, barcode scanners, wearables, fixed industrial scanners and machine vision imagers, giving customers ways to automate critical workflows that are less complex.”
According to Zebra’s Warehousing Vision Study, 92% of warehouse associates surveyed believe that technology advancement will make the warehouse environment more attractive to workers. And when surveyed about the top benefits of working with AMRs, 83% of warehouse associates listed increases in productivity and reduced walking travel time with 73% noting improved accuracy.
