KEYENCE recently released the DX Series – a PDA style mobile computer that boasts high scanning speeds, flexibility, and durability. Its overall performance solves the problems of increasingly complex warehousing and distribution applications and improves efficiency at various worksites. The DX Series includes two screens size options – six inches and four inches – both with durable, 12-layer dual air pocket frames resistant to harsh environments. The ergonomic design coupled with the high capacity 6060 mAh battery allows for continuous, uninterrupted one-handed grip operation.
Not only does the DX Series provide high-speed 1D/2D barcode reading and excellent durability, but the OCR capabilities, RFID reader, and additional expansion units allow the device to flexibly respond to on-site changes. The DX Series includes multiple built-in functions including Push-to-Talk, Enterprise Web Browser, and Remote Access for scanner configuration, cloning, and monitoring. This handheld barcode scanner connects seamlessly into a variety of enterprise system via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and SIM card to a chosen cellular data network.
