Summary of Innovation

The Oceaneering Mobile Robotics MaxMover™ CB D 2000 is a robotic counterbalance forklift capable of lifting 2,000 kilograms (4,400 pounds) and moving autonomously in support of assembly processes and warehouse material movement. This forklift was designed to retain the desired capabilities of conventional forklifts, including differential drives to allow pivot turning and comparable maximum speeds while leveraging autonomous capabilities to create operating efficiencies.

This fully autonomous self-driving forklift is controlled by innovative software. Payload handling is supported by artificial intelligence functions in order to increase efficiency and reduce manual tasks. With this autonomous vehicle companies can re-allocated human resources to value-added functions within their manufacturing processes. In addition, its zero-emission electric design and quiet operating characteristics enhance employee safety and create healthier work environments. This new vehicle, based on autonomous mobile robot technology, generates and improves productivity for customer operations.

Innovation Statement

The MaxMover™ CB D 2000 is a fully autonomous, self-driving forklift that does not require additional infrastructure investment to operate. Using natural-feature navigation for greater flexibility, it replaces manual forklifts and automates internal logistical processes.

Applicability

The MaxMover™ CB D 2000 allows for more efficient logistical processes within any industrial or manufacturing environment, enabling human workers to work on value-added tasks.
