Summary of Innovation
Kargo delivers a new level of visibility, accuracy, and cost efficiency to the logistics industry. Kargo Towers are installed at dock doors and use computer vision to “see” freight, instantaneously capturing and verifying shipment information. Computer vision enables the towers to record freight dimensions and flag overages, shortages, and damage (OS&D), enabling operators to avoid expensive mistakes. It also provides visual proof in the event of a claim, exponentially improving the resolution process across shippers, carriers, and 3PLs. All captured data and key documents are accessible on the Kargo Platform, which integrates with existing management systems to allow for increased visibility and data-driven decision making.
