Slip Robotics provides a trailer loading and unloading solution (Slip Robot) that can load and unload a semi-trailer or box truck in <5 minutes with no modifications to the dock or trailer. Slip uses a set of AMRs staged with freight to move the freight into the trailer when it arrives. The AMRs then ride with the freight to the destination and can unload all the freight in <5 minutes, as well. Slip Robotics’ loading and unloading robots can handle docks with dock levelers or dock plates and can load a trailer with up to 48,000 lbs of freight. The solution is currently used at many sites across multiple customers. It improves dock and driver efficiency and reduces damage to product and other equipment.
